It has come to my knowledge that there are DJs that go on websites and download music, and then viola, a mixtape is created with artists like LIKWAYNE, JAY, T.I., RICK ROSS, and etc. BUT... this is the part that gets crazy, those same fake DJs have the nerve to ask upcoming artists do they want slots on mixtapes, and when the artist says YES, the DJ then charges then for slots. Sometimes they charge a fee of $1200 for one slot just because the mixtape has LIL WEEZY on it. LOL LOL LOL
THIS HAS TO STOP!!! THERE ARE DJs THAT HAVE NO TRUE CONNECTIONS OR NO TRUE INDUSTRY CONTACTS. ARTISTS DESERVE BETTER THAN THIS!!! IF YOU ARE WITH ME, LET'S GO HUNT THESE FAKE DJs DOWN AND TAKE THEM OUT OF BUSINESS!!!

THE PROBLEM WID DJS AND THE GAME IS THAT THIS HAS MOVED TO A MULTI BILLON DOLLAR INDUSTRY. THE PROBLEM WIT THAT IS THAT MOST PEOPLE GOT INTO BECAUSE OF THE ART FORM AND WHAT ITDOES TO THEM IN THEIR HEART AND SOUL. SUCH AS THE DJS WHO ARE CHARGING EXTREMELY HIGH FOR MIXTAPES. I FEEL THEM CUZ THEY TRYING TO GET THAT MONEY OFF THE GAME, BUT ON THE OTHER HAND THERE IS DJS WHO DONT USE SKILLS. THEIR SKILLS ARE IN A MULTITRACK RECORDERS AND NOT WHERE IT COUNTS. I STILL HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH THIS BECAUSE THEY ARE THE SAME DJS THAT MAKE DJS LIKE ME LOOK GREAT!!! lol. trust me im a certified professional. but i see no reason to waste time on discussing something that serves no real purpose. im not trying to clown, im looking at an age old issue that has been happening for a while. If you can mix and scratch, control your market (or at least have a good hold on it) and have exposure then youre doing your job. the big picture is, grab hold of those that are trying to learn and share with them to be able to breed better craftsmen in the dj arena. thats how you fight that.

its crazy cause in dallas we got a lot of cats putting out tapes and these cats cant do nathing i call them bootlegers they just snatch records off the net what happend 2 the art of realy putting a tape 2gether wow its crazy

I feel ya on that no skills is the problemn......and the funny thing is its alot of those djs in my city and they still get in the clubs because they wanna undercut the tru dj and charge the promoter 75 to dj ......what the fuck is up wit that these promoters are the problemn in my city ha ha ha so i stay in the streets wit the mixtapes......
