- Get Straight to it Productions was established in October of 2007 by Christopher "Layroo" Cearnel and Gina "The Diva" Tisdale. They met as freshmen at Bethune-Cookman University, both majoring in Music Technology. Over the years, they became obsessed with every aspect of the music production process. Due to their passion for music, they chose to take their talents to the next level with the establishment of Get Straight to it Productions. Following the founding of the company, Ob Da Beat Man joined the team offering the sickest beats and slickest lyrics. KeegoSlim was added to the team in January 2008. He represents West Palm Beach,Florida and has a flow that is unlike any rapper from this state. GSTIP is the start of a new era in Hip-hop get ready because It Is....
