A product of the South, Laron Bishop aka Young Soulja, watched his older brothers maneuver through the city streets raising hell at a young age. His older brother Troy began buying Young Soulja CDs containing Southern rappers and lots of 2 Pac. This music began to shape his lyrics into a "say what he feels" artist.
Young Soulja, Troy, and T Snatch formed an alliance of street souljas called the LAC Boyz. The deeper Soulja got into rap, the deeper he got into the drug game which led to incarceration. He promised the streets that when he returned, he would put Charleston, South Carolina and the Carolinas on the map.
With the blessing of his brother, Soulja re-established the LAC Boyz legacy with a new crop of young hungry artist. They are constantly in the streets where they were born and breed and constantly recording and performing in the South.
With the guidance of their Management (O ENT), Soulja and the LAC Boyz are destined for a bright future. Young Soulja lives by one philosophy, "those that break bread together stay together"
Being from the Carolinas radio play is sometimes hard to acquire. Soulja would like to thank Hot 107.9 and the Durty Boys for being the first FM station to play LAC Boyz music.
Soulja is committed to continuing to destroy the "mic" every time he steps on the stage and in the booth. Through his stage performances he vows to put a face to "Real Life Struggles"
